Given what happened to Halak and Pavelec last year, I wouldn't say it is an entirely crazy question. It certainly wouldn’t be an easy decision, but it would most definitely send a message to the team in terms of just how competitive it is to earn a spot in the line-up now.

He turns 20 on October 15th but even if he was 19 until December 31st, he's played 4 years in the Q so the NHL/CHL agreement would allow him to be in A this year.
